Agree the review process before filming.
You can plan and review a ShotModo project without travelling to China. Share the product brief and references, then agree the shot list, video scope and review process with the team. Choose one person to collect feedback from your side. If several people need to approve the work, tell us before production so their requirements can be included in the plan.
Check the product before the edit style.
First check the product version, accessories, setup and demonstrated actions. Read every specification and on-screen claim against the approved information you supplied. Tell us if an essential detail is missing or inaccurate. These notes have a different purpose from preferences about music or pacing: they establish whether the video shows the right product and explains its operation correctly.
Use timestamps and explain the requested change.
Point to the exact moment that needs attention and describe the desired change. For example: “At 00:08, hold the close-up until the latch is fully open.” This is clearer than “make it more premium.” Group notes about product details, text, pacing and audio, and combine comments from your team before sending them. Refer to the same draft version so the notes are easy to match.
Distinguish an edit from a new filming request.
A request to shorten a scene is different from a request to show an action that was not filmed. Tell us which outcome you need so we can review the available footage and discuss the work involved. Video revisions follow the agreed production quote. The unlimited-revision commitment applies to the ecommerce image service and should not be assumed to define the video scope.
Check the final file list against your brief.
Before approval, check that the agreed versions, languages and audio treatments are accounted for. We deliver approved content through a download link. Compare the file list with the placements in your brief and let us know if anything is missing. Confirm any separate request for source footage or project files with the team; the delivery format should be agreed explicitly.
